Aman Narang is the Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder, and a Director of Toast. He previously led Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Development, and Fintech as Toast’s Chief Operating Officer. Aman’s various roles over the past decade have given him an expansive understanding of the business. Prior to Toast, Aman worked at Endeca, now Oracle, where he led their mobile business unit. Aman holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from MIT.

Steve Fredette is the President, Co-founder, and a Director of Toast, where he leads product and innovation initiatives. Prior to Toast, he was involved in a number of entrepreneurial endeavors, including competing with Facebook while it was still a project out of a Harvard dorm room, and being an early pioneer in iPhone app development. He was also an “intrapreneur” at Endeca, helping to lead the Special Operations team that was instrumental in launching Endeca’s business intelligence platform and founding the Endeca mobile commerce business. Steve holds a B.S. degree from MIT.

Megan Anderson is the Chief Customer Officer, responsible for leading the customer support functions at Toast. Before joining Toast, Megan scaled and led the Global Customer and Partner Services team at Booking.com in Amsterdam, where she elevated the customer experience, drove automation and self-service, and oversaw a team of 9,000, providing 24/7 support in 32 languages. Also at Booking.com, Megan launched the alternative accommodation business. Other prior roles include Operating Director at Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, and management consultant with Bain & Company. Megan holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Debra Chrapaty is the Chief Technology Officer at Toast, where she leads technical planning and operations, architecture, infrastructure, data, AI, and product engineering. Debra brings decades of experience in large-scale technical infrastructure, cloud, operations management, and product management for many brands, including the National Basketball Association (as CTO), E*TRADE (as CIO), Microsoft (as Corporate VP of Infrastructure and Cloud), CISCO (as SVP of Collaboration Software), and ZYNGA (as CIO). Most recently, Debra served as the Chief Technology Officer of Wells Fargo, building services stability, scalability, developer productivity, speed, security, and compliance for the nation’s fourth-largest bank. As the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Amazon Alexa, she led product growth and monetization, third-party skills and devices, and international product expansion. Throughout her career, Debra has been a valued board member and advisor for many well-known companies. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Temple University and an MBA in Information Systems from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Brian Elworthy is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Toast. In this role, he leads a team of attorneys and compliance professionals responsible for all aspects of Toast’s legal and regulatory affairs around the world. Before joining Toast, he served as Assistant General Counsel in the corporate headquarters of a global provider of commercial and clinical solutions to the life sciences industry. Brian began his legal career at Ropes & Gray, spending six years practicing in the firm's Corporate department. Brian earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and his B.A. from Middlebury College.

Kelly Esten is the Chief Marketing Officer at Toast, and joined the company in 2017. Before becoming the CMO, she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise. She also held various Toast marketing leadership roles across product marketing, pricing, market insights and partnerships. Before Toast, she spent the previous six years at EnerNOC building Product Marketing from the ground up, leading Enterprise Sales, and building the go-to-market for their Energy Intelligence Software platform. She began her career at UBS in sales, finance, and strategy roles. She has an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a B.A. in Environmental Science from Dartmouth College.

Elena Gomez is the Chief Financial Officer at Toast, where she oversees Global Finance, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development. Under her leadership, Toast launched its initial public offering in 2021. Prior to Toast, Elena was the CFO of Zendesk, growing market cap to over $15B. Over her 30-year career, Elena has also held finance leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies, including Salesforce, Visa, and Charles Schwab. Elena has a passion for helping organizations drive scale through cycles of massive growth. She was named to the list of Most Influential Women in Business in 2017 by the San Francisco Business Times. In addition to her operator role, Elena serves on board of directors, as audit committee chair, for PagerDuty. She also serves on the non profit board of Ladies who Launch. Elena is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the global business community, serving the Haas School of Business as board chair and a founding member of the Haas Center for Gender, Equity, and Leadership Advisory Council. Elena also serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco. Elena graduated with a Business degree from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Mike Gutner is the Chief People Officer at Toast, responsible for leading our People and Workplace teams and practices around the globe. When Mike joined Toast in 2018, he led Restaurant Success, then joined the People team to build and lead People & Organizational Success, which included HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Internal Comms, People Analytics, Global HR, and Employee Engagement. Prior to Toast, Mike held various leadership positions in Customer Success, Sales, HR, Product, and Business Development, first at Google for nearly ten years, then as COO of Rest Devices, a connected devices start-up focused on helping parents and their babies get more sleep. Mike holds a B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University.

Jerome Luo is Chief of Staff at Toast, where he works across the organization to define and execute on overall company priorities, oversees the week-to-week working cadence for the leadership team, and provides support on special projects. Jerome was previously a leader in Toast's Finance and Strategy organization where he partnered with R&D, drove strategic planning, and managed the day-to-day efforts behind the company's IPO in 2021. Prior to Toast, Jerome held various roles at InVision and McKinsey & Company, leading a broad range of strategy and analytics efforts. He holds a B.S. in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University.

Lou is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Toast’s core Restaurant and Commerce business. In this role, he leads strategy and execution for the company’s flagship SaaS and hardware products. Previously at HubSpot, Lou led and scaled the sales, service, and commerce Hub product lines that propelled the company to become the world’s leading SMB CRM. Lou’s journey also includes various product and commercial leadership roles, including launching and leading join.me at LogMeIn, leading product and go-to-market at Localytics, and consulting in Marketing at Monitor Group. He is a regular guest lecturer on product management at Harvard Business School, and is an active startup investor and mentor. Lou has a B.S. from Bentley University, and a passion for restaurants influenced by a childhood spent exploring Boston-area Greek pizza stores owned by family and friends.

Michel Rbeiz is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of FinTech at Toast, where he leads Toast’s Payments, Lending and Embedded Finance, Team Management and Payroll, Supplier, and Accounting lines of business. Before joining Toast, Michel was the Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at State Street, a leading financial services provider, where he led several strategic initiatives and M&A transactions to evolve State Street’s business into a platform for institutional investors. Michel also held a variety of other senior strategy, chief operating officer, and technology transformation roles at State Street. Michel started his career at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant to clients in financial services and technology industries, and spent three years as an entrepreneur in the FinTech and Consumer space in Boston. Michel holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Michael Senno
Senior Vice President, Finance & Strategy, Treasury, & Investor Relations
Michael Senno is the Senior Vice President of Finance, leading the Finance and Strategy, Data Analytics, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams at Toast. Before coming to Toast, Michael led Investor Relations at Coupang during their IPO and was the Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations at Expedia. Michael also previously held roles at Time Warner and at Credit Suisse, where he was a sell-side equity analyst covering the Media, and Cable and Satellite sectors. He holds a B.S. in Information Science from Syracuse University and MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Jonathan Vassil is the Chief Revenue Officer at Toast. Previously, he led Toast’s Sales and Onboarding organizations. Jonathan has extensive experience in hyper-growth businesses and offers a deep background in SMB sales, operations, and marketplace development. He sits on the board of several early-stage startups. Prior to joining Toast, Jonathan held several senior leadership roles at GolfNow (Comcast), Orderup, and Groupon. He holds a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, where he is also a guest lecturer.
